Who can travel for free?
Free travel is available for:
- Children under 6 years old
- Passengers with disabilities holding an IVOL Agevolata card or a European Disability Card
An accompanying person travels free only if this is explicitly indicated on the card.
For fare concessions for persons with disabilities, please note that medical certificates or documentation of any other nature are not considered valid.
On-board staff and ticket office operators are not in any case authorized or qualified to consult, interpret, or verify medical documentation.
Consequently, reports or medical documents cannot be accepted as valid proof for the recognition of fare concessions.
This provision is adopted to protect users and in compliance with the applicable regulations on the protection of personal data.
