BAN ON DISEMBARKING AND PASSING THROUGH WITH BICYCLES AT MONTE ISOLA

Navigazione Lago d’Iseo informs that, starting from Sunday, March 1, 2026 (in accordance with Municipal Ordinance no. 17/2025), the disembarkation and transit of all types of bicycles and electric scooters on Monte Isola will be prohibited during the following periods:

on pre-holiday days and public holidays from March to September;
-
every day during the month of August.
As a result, on the above-mentioned days and for routes to Monte Isola only, the sale of “Bicycle” tickets will be suspended.
Exceptions to the Ban (when it does not apply)
The prohibition on disembarkation and transit does not apply to bicycles and electric scooters in the following cases:
-
if used by residents;
-
if used by non-residents, provided that the vehicles:
-
are already present within the municipal area, or
-
were disembarked on days not subject to the ban (e.g. rental vehicles, second-home owners, vehicles provided by hotels and residences for their guests);
-
-
if used to assist persons with certified reduced mobility.
Users with a Reservation at Accommodation Facilities on Monte Isola
Users who have a reservation at an accommodation facility located in the Municipality of Monte Isola (restaurants/hotels/guesthouses/B&Bs/holiday homes or similar) may disembark and transit during restricted periods only if they push their vehicle by hand.
The reservation must:
-
be always available and shown upon request to Local Police officers;
-
be valid only for the dates indicated in the booking;
-
grant exemption for one bicycle or electric scooter per person.
Additionally, the reservation must include:
-
the business name of the accommodation facility;
-
the full name of the person who made the booking;
-
the number of people booked (which must correspond to the maximum number of vehicles);
-
the start date and end date of the reservation.
